Grants & Funding
Wheeler & Associates has an extensive background in grant writing, proposal
development, and general fundraising activities. Whether you have
a program or project for which you are seeking funding, or an
identified funding source with requirements that you suspect can
be reasonably satisfied, work with us to get a funding application
created and submitted. We will cultivate your ideas into a
strategy that meets required fundor guidelines within your organizational means and
comfort.
Grant preparation is full service through
creation, production, and submission of your application. We
participate in any briefings provided by the funding source prior
to submission of the application, develop a relationship with the
fundor during application development and adhere to any and all technical formatting requirements
including the completion of forms, data information sheets, cover
letters, etc. Wheeler & Associates will identify partners, complete annual or multi-year budgets, and
build necessary support. We also complete the additional
documentation required of grants; for instance memoranda of
agreements, job descriptions, workplans, timelines, and draft
letters of support. Post submission
support includes the provision of technical assistance to
prepare for site visits, submit requested narrative or budget
modifications, and budget negotiation. 
Funded
grants often require an unexpected amount of grants management
time and required reporting. Wheeler & Associates can complete these
ongoing services. Knowledge gained as a result of the time
we spend learning your organization, building partnerships, and
creating your specific grant application renders us uniquely
qualified to assure that your grant project is being carried out
in a manner consistent with that for which it was funded.
Wheeler & Associates
offers general fundraising services also. Some clients have well
defined projects or programs in motion that have ongoing cash
needs that can be satisfied by any variety of funding sources;
private and corporate giving, community fundraising through events
and sponsorship opportunities, grants, and the development of
contractual service programs. Wheeler & Associates will work with
clients over a period of time to develop a diverse funding
strategy, complete miscellaneous activities from bulk
mailing to event planning, and continuously search for new
opportunities.
